In the May 2010 election, there will be a millage renewal request for Mastodon Township to be accepted in the Crystal Falls Library District.
This was passed. So in the August election, we are including an agenda for Township to join the Crystal Falls Library District. If this millage is passed, you will be taxed 1 mill on the assessed value of your property. It has been decided that the Crystal Falls District Community Library will receive our penal fines whether the millage passes or not. As of now the yrly membership is $25.00, family $40.00.
